Mothers and the value of motherhood have been in the news a lot lately, but Ventura filmmaker and entrepreneur Justin P. Wayoro approached motherhood from a different angle- he wrote, directed and produced a documentary film about inspiring mothers, their strength and courage, and what motherhood means to them.
Wayoro states the the movie had reached over a million people on Facebook. The film’s Ventura County premiere screening was May 10 at the Roxy Stadium 11 heater in Camarillo. A gala celebration honoring mothers and Mother’s Day was held May 12 in Ventura and about 400 people attended the two events.
